It's hard to believe this was 7 years ago, but not because it seems so long ago but because somehow this has faded into what seems like an even more distant background. I think in part it's because my body and mind were there, but my soul wasn't. I wasn't engaged in the whole enterprise in a way that I was passionate about. I learned a lot, I had some interesting experiences, but I also see it as an opportunity where much was also lost for silly reasons. Another reminder to determine what's important in life and to make the most of ALL opportunities.
